| DESIGN NAME: Career Up PRIMARY FUNCTION: AI Coaching Platform INSPIRATION: The platform is an intelligent and personalised solution tailored for early-stage career professionals based on the capability of conversational AI. It automates and enhances user productivity in career coaching, application tracking, and emotion management throughout the entire job-hunting journey. The platform provides manageability for career exploration & growth, enabling individuals to navigate their professional journeys with stability and continuous advancement. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Through the automatic generation of task cards and recommendation of job positions based on interacting with coaching AI, we can promptly translate ideas into actions, seamlessly overseeing our progress during the job hunting journey. With the consolidation of all essential tools on a single screen, we ease the burden for users toggling between different apps. An interface with progressive elaboration has been crafted to support users in attaining long-term success without the cognitive burden of setting goals and constructing the management dashboard. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design language follows to the principles of professionalism and efficiency, with a focus on providing an immersive experience tailored to the user's career journey through a seamless digital interface and interactive modality. The product introduces a conversation-led interaction, where the coaching AI guides the user in constructing their workspace based on individual preferences aligning with the unique needs of each user. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Adopting a conversation-led approach with vibrant colours and sleek animations with a transparent glassmorphism style, the platform establishes a visually captivating environment that sustains user engagement and sharp focus on their objectives. With AI-generated career-oriented coaching background, it create an immersive and personalised coaching experience setting it apart from existing service. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 1728 Height 1117 (Desktop) and responsive design on tablet & VR device TAGS: AI, Career Coaching, Conversational AI, Career Management, User Experience Design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research commenced with competitor analysis and semi-structured interviews to glean valuable insights into users' experiences, perspectives, and needs regarding career management. The collected user insights were categorized into seven distinct themes and prioritized using evaluation metrics centered on user experience and problem-solving. The resulting data shaped a design concept, optimizing information arrangement and user interactions to enhance the overall user experience. CHALLENGE: The challenge lay in prioritizing the qualitative user findings we gathered. Through affinity mapping, we assigned and rated each finding based on its impact on user experience and its potential to address user problems. This method allowed us to pinpoint areas requiring immediate attention to enhance the overall user journey. Moreover, it empowered us to prioritize solutions with the most significant impact in alleviating user pain points.
